Building inspection (Bill-122) is the means of monitoring the general condition of a building, using ropes to move around its exterior surfaces. <\/strong><\/p>

This technique makes it possible to access hard-to-reach areas such as facades, roofs and chimneys, and to check the condition of building materials such as mortar, cement, concrete, windows, doors, balconies, skylights and other important elements. Building inspection on ropes is often used on buildings of 4 storeys or more, or on complex structures, as it allows easy access to these areas and close observation of details. This technique must be carried out by SPRAT\/IRATA-certified technicians, using specialized rope access protective equipment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>

\nSTEPS AND SERVICES FOR A SUCCESSFUL JOB:\n<\/h2>

  1. Permits :<\/strong> If your building is less than 3 metres from the sidewalk, our team will reserve the sidewalk occupation permits required by the city.<\/p><\/li>

  2. Communications antennas :<\/strong> In order to protect our technicians and avoid potential radiation and burns, we will have to request that they be turned off temporarily during the work period. We will be responsible for dealing with suppliers such as Videotron, Bell, Telus, Rogers and others.<\/p><\/li>

  3. Security :<\/strong> Inspection of the work area, identification of potential hazards and implementation of safety measures to protect workers and bystanders on the ground...<\/p><\/li>

  4. Inspection LOI 122 :<\/strong> We offer building inspection services in collaboration with partner engineering firms. Tactile and visual inspection of building facades at 25,50 or100% + openings if required. Please do not hesitate to contact us<\/p><\/li>

  5. Annual maintenance :<\/strong> L'Atelier en Hauteur specializes in general building facade maintenance, including masonry inspections and repairs, caulking and other work. Not only can we offer you an annual wash, but we also take the opportunity to report any deficiencies and problems invisible from below.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>
