Bungee jumping for blind children

On August 30, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., we are jumping to benefit the Association québécoise des parents d'enfants handicapés visuels. You jump, we donate. And if heights scare you, there are a thousand ways to be there.

Why this day

Five years is worth celebrating by jumping

Our rope access technicians spend their days suspended in mid-air. To mark Atelier en Hauteur's fifth anniversary, José and Jacob wanted to bring everyone along—this time for a cause close to their hearts.

The AQPEHV supports families of children living with a visual impairment everywhere in Quebec. Every dollar raised on August 30 goes directly to its mission.

The ones we jump for

Families will be there

All day long, families from AQPEHV come to discover the world of skydiving. For many of the young people, it is a first.

  • Visit an airplane cockpit
  • Handle a real parachute
  • Explore flight instruments tactually
  • Meet the instructors
How to board

Three ways to participate

Whether you want to jump out of an airplane or simply eat spaghetti for a cause, there is a place for you.

Option 1

Tandem jump

You'll be paired with a certified instructor; no prior experience is required. The jump costs 3,85$, and a portion of the fee for each jump will be donated to the AQPEHV.
Option 2

RAISE FUNDS

Are you a recreational skydiver? Pay for your jump as usual and ask your friends and family to donate by August 30. For every 50$ raised, you’ll get to make a jump. Sign up!!!

Donations go through AQPEHV: automatic tax receipt for your donors.
Option 3

COME ON SITE

Admission is free. Watch the jumps, eat on site, buy 50/50 raffle tickets, and stay for the end-of-day meal.

No registration required.

Frequently asked questions

Good to know

None. In tandem, you are attached to a certified instructor who takes care of everything. A short training is given on-site before the jump.

Yes, 14 years old. Participants under 18 must provide authorization signed by both parents, along with an ID.

There is no fixed limit. What matters is that the harness fits properly, and that depends on everyone's body type — which is why the Parachute Montréal team needs to see the person to decide.

Starting at 230 lbs, an additional fee applies:

230 lb and over: 50 $
250 lb and over: 60 $
270 lb and over: 70 $

If you are close to these limits, contact Parachute Montréal before booking. It is better to check right away than to make the trip for nothing.

The only physical requirement is being able to lift your legs upon landing. For everything else, tandem skydiving is accessible to most people: the instructor does the piloting.

If you have any doubts about your physical condition, consult your doctor for approval before booking. The waiver form specifies the conditions that must be declared.

Deferred to the following week, namely September 6, 2026

Yes, and it is free. Come cheer on the jumpers, eat on-site and participate in the raffle. See you at Parachute Montréal, at 29 Route 125 in Saint-Esprit, about 45 minutes from Montreal.

There is still room on the plane

On August 30th, every jump, every plate, and every ticket makes a difference for a child.
